Review: The Adoration of Jenna Fox

Jenna Fox has awoken from a year-long coma - or so she's been told. She is still recovering from the accident, but what happens before that? She is given home movies that document her entire life. Memories resurface but are they hers? Why won't anyone in her family talk about it? What are they hiding? Does she want to remember?

Mary E. Pearson did a wonderful job in writing The Adoration of Jenna Fox. From front to back, she had you guessing what will happen next? What is Jenna Fox? Maybe she's some enhanced creature of the night, maybe she is not. What is Jenna Fox, and what happened after the accident?

I loved this book.
The Good

  1. It has an intricate plot that keeps you guessing.
  2. Written beautifully.
  3. Believable and relatable characters that one can relate too.
  4. Slightly futuristic but not unbelievable.
  5. A stay up all night kind of read.
The Bad
  1. Not everyone under the age of 13 will be able to pick this up and understand.
